Helen Wurtele and Roxanne Adkins (mother & daughter) are Finders Keepers Antique Mall Star Dealers. Helen has been married for 58 years and has three children and six grandchildren. Roxanne has been married for 17 years and has three children and one grandchild.

Primarily, Helen and Roxanne work for their husbands on their farms primarily but have enjoyed being in the antique business for the past 11 months.

Helen & Roxanne got started in the antique business by touring and shopping at Finders Keepers. They love to collect Care Bears™ and enjoy the antique business because it gives them the opportunity to learn about the past and meet people.

Helen’s funniest moment in the antique business was when a customer challenged her, suggesting that the pink depression dishes that she played with in the 1930’s as a child were reproductions.

Both Helen & Roxanne continue to learn about the antique business from Finders Keepers owners, Jim & Alicia, and from other dealers. Their best advice to new dealers is to “deal with reputable people.”

They find their best treasures in their parents home and yard sales. If they could change anything in the antique world, they would make it so no fake merchandise would be intentionally past on to customers by dealers.

Helen & Roxanne’s greatest accomplishment is their pride (humbly) in their children and family.
